Professional Sports Photography

I’ve been shooting sports, nature, and news photographs for over 30 years, cutting my teeth as a college student in the early 1970s.

As a former newspaper editor, I won numerous Mississippi Press Association (MPA) awards for sports, news, and feature photography; as well as layout and design. For the past 11 years, I’ve worked as a community college sports information director and my work has won many College Public Relations Association of Mississippi (CPRAM) photo awards.

My photos have been published in countless newspapers and other publications all across the southeastern United States and in the spring of 2004, my work was published in national weekly sports magazine, ‘‘The Sporting News,’’ on two different occasions.

While sports if my first love, I’m also well-versed in travel, nature, feature, and news photography. My professional line of equipment prepares me for any assignment thrown my way.
